Today we took a break from our mission work and traveled to Tikal to visit the ancient Mayan ruins. It was quite an amazing thing to see and so interesting to learn about their history. We climbed the pyramids and looked out at the spectacular views. We were reminded again of the awesome beauty of God 's creation
Guatemala is such a beautiful country. We have marveled over and over at the beauty here that we have seen. From the mountains, to the lakes, to the volcanoes and the beautiful plants, Guatemala is filled with beauty
The people of Guatemala are beautiful too. From the hard working people of CCCG, to the children in the villages they serve, these people of God's creation are beautiful and we are blessed to know them.
We are off tomorrow to spend one more morning playing with the kids, then we will be heading home. It is going to be hard to say goodbye!
